My Brother
by Martha R.
copyright 08-08-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

To my dear brother
Drugs are something
You've seen most your life
With honor and dignity
Standing for right
Your work took flight
The drug pushers
You would fight
Your face doesn't show
A beard you sometimes grow
Long hair or short
I never know
In jail is where
Even I may go
Your sister's song is
I love you
This love is for
all you do
A brother is nice
When it's you

***********

I love you dearly Ray,
Your Sister

Drugs are a good cause to fight for. I don't think that I would ever be brave enough to become an undercover Narc. I think it would be easier for me to go to war overseas and shoot at someone rather then do that. Great poem!

Heh... my brother is in jail at the moment... I wish I could do or say something to make him "Stand For Right" like you sing in your song. :)
