Surrender
by Gregory Christiano (Age: 61)
copyright 04-30-2003

Age Rating: 18 to 127

She inspires delight!
Whom nature's natural beauty borne
A life with ceaseless joy!
E'er so soft and fair,
Buoyant bonds of silken love to share.
I cannot, I will not detatch myself from her.
Deem'd in her pellucid flame,
A love unbounded, with soft breeze
Come into my longing heart.
I breathe e'er so slowly as
Those silken threads wrap 'round
My unopprest and open heart.
Lo! She sleeps within my heart.
My eyes dim and weeping.
With angel-hand she sweeps
Upon my cheeks with rose-touch'd fingers.
Such lambent fire -
Radiant, surrounds me -
I must surrender to her.

Sublime her passion and profound!
Framed in marbl'd matchless beauty,
Holds tight my eternal love.
My soul, awe-struck, overpower'd, devour'd,
With the rapture of her nectar'd grace,
Seals my fate, seals my love.
Oh please! Then know my deepest need,
To be with her till darkness fades
And golden bliss of fanciful dreams assured.
Her fragrance soothes my every thought,
This rich perfume I crave.
Her charms to reach I ardently aspire,
To consecrate my devotion -
To her alone. No other.
She is my altar and temple seat to worship!
There to ply the golden tresses and embrace
Wide and vast, as waves pound upon love's shore -
Like a loud sea roaring below me,
I surrender!
