Guiding Dream
by Janet Owenby
copyright 05-01-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

Caress my soft hand,
allowing hearts to intertwine.
Guide me through dreamland,
intoxicated with love's wine

Steal my willing heart,
with tidal waves of desire.
Instruct your love's art,
to quench inferno of fire.

Submerge my body,
in your tempestuous abyss.
Devour wholly,
with your love's honeysuckle kiss.

Take my heart tonight,
provide me hope for tomorrow.
Fill my world with light,
end insufferable sorrow.

Soar me to the stars,
on the golden wings of romance.
Heal the bitter scars,
with love's infatuating dance.

Cast your guiding beam,
upon my brazen heart of gold.
Be my guiding dream,
carry me across love's threshold.

In the throes of heat I contemplate such love and achieve a sense of bliss and a sense of need...

"provide me hope for tomorrow....". An eternal prayer of all women in the world. Oh, "with your love's honeysuckle kiss" is excellently! I like it much.- Irina.
