I am living in world for what?
To sleep too much and eat a lot?
To hoard too much and spend somewhat?
To seek pleasure where it is not?
First 20 years I spent on what,
To give mortal body strength comfort.
Then I used my brain, a little too much,
To gain some wealth and Kingly touch.
All in vain hope to seek pleasure,
Or at least, to buy it… altogether.
But, pleasure, my dear, no market sell,
You have to toil, and toil really well.
Toil, in a different direction altogether,
In the realm of soul and heavenly pleasure.
This pleasure is our real craving,
We don’t know, and keep on wandering,
Reaching to it is equally daunting.
Fine arts, is one way takes you near,
Oh Muses! That’s why I find you so dear.
I know these lines are worthy not,
Still, I go with my full lot.
It is only one ray of hope,
To which, I am sure, You will cope.
