Please let me go
by Amanda C. (Age: 17)
copyright 02-28-2004

Age Rating: 13 to 127

(A little something to think of when listening to the song: My only love.)

Please let me go.
The times we shared,
Will leave also.
You're not the same.
So let me go.
Wind calls my name.
Let me follow
That voice that says:
You're almost home.
Remember her?
She's the one
Who was slaughtered
By your cruel heart.
You've got some nerve.

Please let me go.
When I'll return
You'll never know.
Do be ashamed,
And leave my soul
To be unclaimed.
Wounded heros,
Even bare:
That final blow.
Blood spills everywhere,
But in their hearts,
The love's still there.
They let them go
Undisturbed.

This is a neat little poem and it was easy to read. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks, Anthony
