Wish

As I hold your gentle body in my arms,
I wish it would last till the end of time.
As I kiss your lips so soft and pure,
I wish it would never end.
When you take my hand in yours,
I wish it would be forever in an enchanted moment.
When I whisper soothing words in your ear and you in mine,
I wish time would stand still.
The first time we danced,
I wished it would last till we could dance with the stars.
But now I reallize that nothing lasts forever,
I just wish some things did.
The good thing is, that some wishes do come true.
Only.....some don't.

Your girlfriend(if you have one) must be the world to you. This was so sweet. And I understood how you feel about some moments.

oh WOW, you have an excellent handle on the innermost longings and feelings; they echo my own and those of people close to me.
