Suicide
by Liz Cozens
copyright 05-20-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

I know you think you want to die.
That is your choice
So I won’t ask why.
But have a thought for those who find
The body that you leave behind.
Don’t choose a place where kids can see
How you end your misery.

They don’t deserve the memory.

poignant message! This is something that causes deep thought! Do people that commit suicide think about who finds them and do they care? Yhanks, Anthony

Very good, Liz! You cut to the heart of the matter. A short poem with a great deal to say.

Great job, and I like your thought 9that people who are suicidal shouldn't only think about themselves).
BTW. I know your kinda (very) picky about your structure, but maybe in the almost last line you could end it "how you end your misery" ? n_n (just a suggestion)
