When I'm caught in the current's surge,
and my soul fears the dark abyss.
I feel my drowning heart submerge,
as my torn spirit drifts amiss.
The strong violent winds take form,
and you provide me strength to cope.
You're my vessel against the storm,
my unrelenting oars of hope.
You lead me through the sea of life,
guiding me through the rushing tide.
Sail me across the waves of strife,
set emotions afloat inside.
Your love becomes the magic raft,
that brings me safely back to shore.
You free me from the rapids draft,
as my waning faith you restore.
Your love the anchor to my heart,
securing my inner ship's stern.
Strong tides cannot force us apart,
when the raging sea of life churns.
