Thou pullest up each spring flower and kiss it with the breeze.
Thou makest diamond raindrops and name each of the trees.
The ocean’s deepest secrets are no mystery to Thee.
Yet despite all these great wonders, Thou art holding onto me.
Though the ebb and flow of future is clear only to Thine eyes,
Thou art sure to be my refuge and still all my fainting cries.
For tomorrow is a whisper in the span of eternity.
So I’ll cling to Thy great promise, Thou art holding onto me.
There will be some difficulties as I tread upon this earth,
But not in tongue nor circumstance, do I acknowledge all my worth.
Resting in my sure adoption, certain of my liberty,
Thou hast made my home eternal. Thou art holding onto me.
I will falter in this journey but Thy strength enables me.
Thy forgiveness melts my sorrow, through repentance I’m made free.
Joyfully, I come with gladness to the One who hears my plea.
Blessed hope and peace forever, Thou art holding onto me.
