I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.
The swift pink sweet honey flower.
The Fairies crush these into a magic powder.
The little mermaids ripple the river.
The moon and the stars bath them in silver.
See the waves dance to their own lullaby.
See how the turtles wave them goodbye.
Then pink clouds hover over with grace.
Then they shred to a fine powdery lace.
I watch the stars on a cool summer night.
I listen to the birds in the gentle moonlight.

What a wonderful poem Madeline! You could really be something someday, but I'm sure your parents already told you that. Although we kids don't care and or listen to our parents comments, they always try to encourage us till they nolonger even look at it.
