"Mother"
by Melissa Bean (Age: 21)
copyright 06-01-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

You don't deserve to be called "mother" because a mother cares.
You never cared for my well-being, you never even dared.

I tried to impress you, and I tried not to cry to show you I was strong.
Bruises and scars are a constant memory of all the pain you inflicted on me which was completely wrong.
I try so hard now not to be just like you.
I'm tired of hearing those same deceitful words like " I love you too"

Do you really have any idea what love means?
You didn't hit me because you loved me; you hit me because I was weaker than you and to prove you are queen.

I believed your lies.
I thought it would be much easier to die. You can't blame it on your disease either because I have it too
I am not like you.

Your deep, ineer feelings are beginning to be revealed here and are well expressed. If true, I pray that you are not subjected to this kind of parental abuse any longer, Melissa...you are to sweet to have to endure such treatment. God bless you and watch over you...stay strong...stay true...stay You.
Warm Regards,
Lyle

mmmm... I can concur.... in some cases a "Mother's Love" is not all it's cracked up to be... been there, done that :(
