The constant fear
The always hated plague
It always fell upon me
The girl I love taken away by another
I can't help it if I fall for the hero's girl
Most of the time I sit and stare
At her just standing there
Other times I tease and play
Making her feel angry at me in a way
If I manage to make her smile
I've done my worth while
But if I see her cry
Then he is there
Then I can't do anything
But just sit and stare
It makes me sick to see them kiss
In their happy little 'look at me' bliss
Sometimes I want to kiss her
Put her in my worldy bliss
But I put that thought away
I wouldn't want to hurt a friend who's been there with me till the end
So if you see me around
I won't feel blue or down
I'll always know
I ain't alone
