Status: Daughter of Luna and Artemis
With a little fanfare as her charge, Diana stumbles into the present day and raises a few problems until Rini recognizes her. Diana is the daughter of Luna and Artemis, and she has been granted permission to join Rini in the present day, both to keep an eye on her (and the other Sailor Scouts) and to gain valuable real-life experiences. She's eager to take her tasks, and the others are patient enough to help her get used to the present day.
Diana first appeared in Sailor Moon Super S, and started Luna and Artemis fighting with each other when they think Diana is only Artemis' daughter. But eventually the find out that they are both the parents of this adorable grey kitten, and there is a lot of blushing and making up by the two older cats.
Side Note: In the manga, Tin Nyanko says that Luna, Artemis, and Diana are creatures from the planet Mau. Tin Nyanko was Sailor Mau but Sailor Galaxia took her Star Seed and made her into an Animate. None of this was ever mentioned in the anime.
