I should start by mentioning that calling her 'Metallia' is a mistranslation. It's actually supposed to be Metaria, but as the 'l' and 'r' sounds in Japanese are phonetically identical.......it's an easy mistake to make. Metaria was an evil sealed within the sun, but during a period of increased sunspot activity she escaped and fled to Earth. There she was found by an Earth noblewoman by the name of Beryl. Metaria corrupted the woman into her service and eventually gained a large following among the more jealous inhabitants of the Third Planet. She soon had enough power to invade the Moon Kingdom and the rest, as they say, is history....
