Gallery: Wise Man

The character Wise Man (Death Phantom in the Japanese and partially in the manga) is a mysterious entity who is apparently behind the Black Moon Family's attack on Crystal Tokyo. He did a pretty good job of it too, seeing as Crystal Tokyo was practically on the verge of defeat by the time the past Senshi return with Chibi-Usa. There is a divergance as to to what extent his manipulation extended between the manga and anime. In the manga he'd pretty much taken over whereas in the anime he plays the role of a simple advisor. Honestly, I completely and absolutely LOATHE his character for the several reasons. The top two are a) he violated my personal honor code one too many times in both the anime and the manga and b) he murdered Sapphire in the anime. I felt sorry for the guy......he didn't deserve to die like that..... Understandably, I CHEERED when the kusayarou kicked it. Would have made his death a bit more painful and drawn out if I'd been the one who killed him, though...... I'm a bit of a sadist........and I'm vindictive. Bad combination.
