Gallery: Witches 5

The Witches 5 were a secret organization that belonged to the villain group called the Death Busters. They were found in the third season of Sailor Moon. They gained power within the Death Busters after Kaolinite's death and worked directly under Professor Tomoe's direction.

The Witches 5 took over the mission of finding pure heart crystals that held the three Talismans, and indirectly the Sacred Cup. Once the Talismans were revealed (within the pure crystal hearts of Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto) the Sacred Cup was revealed, but remained in the hands of the Sailor Senshi. The Witches 5 were reassigned to finding the one pure heart crystal that would re-awaken the Messiah of Silence, Mistress 9.

The true origins of the Witches 5 is unknown. They did pose as students at the Muygen School, which was also the secret base of the Death Busters.

Fate was not kind to the Witches 5. Riddled with rivalry and with each member vying to replace the others, the organization was doomed.

Eudial was the first member of the Witches 5 to gain power. She actually discovered the holders of the Talismans/Sacred Cup. But shortly after failing to obtain the Sacred Cup, she was killed in an car accident set up by Mimette.

Mimette was celebrity-obsessed and often chose her marks by the person's status or looks. However, she too met her fate when she stole Tellu's job and got trapped in a machine, when Tellu pulled the plug thus destroying her. Tellu's fate was shortly sealed when she was devoured by her own creations. Then Viluy and the last members of the Witches 5, Cyprine and Ptilol, were defeated by the Sailor Senshi/Soliders.

Cyprine and Ptilol actually counted as one Witch since they are twins whose powers are directly linked.

A note on Kaolinite; she is not a member of the Witches 5 but appears both before and after their destruction.
