| Queen Serenity, the ruler of the Silver Millennium, and the mother of Princess Serenity (reincarnated into Serena/Usagi). When Queen Beryl and Queen Metallia attacked the Silver Millenium and killed the Sailor Scouts, Princess Serenity, and Prince Darien, Queen Serenity used the full power of the Silver Crystal to defeat them and sealed them away. The strain of using the Crystal left her near death, and as her final act she sent her daughter, the Prince, and the Senshi, as well as the guardian cats to be reborn on Earth. She makes small appearances as a spirit throughout the anime. |
