It was recommended the other day that I expand this biography.
I am pleased to.

I was born in Brownsville, Texas.
My father, a diplomat with Pan American Airways, traveled with the family throughout Central America.
I've lived in every Central American country except Costa Rica.

I've trekked the jungles, sailed at least one sea, traveled by plane and train, boat and ship, automobile and on foot, to some of the most memorable, to me, places in the world.

I have an undergraduate degree from University of Northern Colorado.Declared Major, Theatre Arts.Minor, English. My teaching certificate for secondary schools was awarded by Colorado upon my graduation.

While attending UNC, I was offered and took, a Fellowship with the Audio-Visual department as their Graphic Artist and Photographer.
I held that Fellowship until I took my undergraduate degree and entered a PhD terminal program at the University of Southern Illinois.
While there, I held two Fellowship positions.

Before moving to Florida, I had lived in Colorado for about 35 years.While there, I taught English and related subjects at a high school in San Luis, Colorado.

I was also fortunate enough to study for and become a self-apprenticed Oils Paintings and Picture Frame Conservator. It was considered, then, that I was among the 5 best Oils Paintings Conservators in at least Denver.

I've been here, in Florida, for about 9 years.Two years or so in Miami Beach and here, for about 7 years

I've hiked the mountains, been wilderness camping, swum in both oceans--Atlantic and Pacific--and was caught in the tail end of a hurricane while crossing the Caribbean by tuna boat from Panama to Puerto Rico.

I watched a manta ray give live birth to 5 little rays on the beach in Galveston, Texas, have lived through blizzards, snow storms, rain storms, freezing cold and sweltering heat.

I've seen huge waterfalls, double & triple rainbows, cavernous craters, fossilized remains of plants and critters, walked the rim of maybe extinct volcanoes, and so much more.

I am generally "retired" at this point in my life.My only ongoing interests are writing and working with writers as they may find helpful, and being on one or two anime forums.^^

I also enjoy the world of anime very much.

I've always enjoyed writing and painting and teaching.

Above all else, I try to be a student.^.^
